About the shop
One narrow shop, a lot of buckets and Posy behind the counter since the first tulip.
She used to close at 5 and work till 10
Orders came in by text, by phone, by comments and on scraps of paper. Posy spent her evenings copying them into a notebook so nobody’s birthday flowers went missing.
Now every order lands in one list, with the stems, the card and the delivery time already filled in. The shop still closes at 5. These days, so does Posy.
The flowers come from the market at 5am, three days a week. Anything that isn’t at its best by Saturday goes to the care home on Mill Road.
